Tosin Awomeme has almost two decades of coaching experience. He possess extensive knowledge from player development, to coaching High School teams to their first district championships in 20 years, to pro shop management and Head Stringer. He is currently the Director of the Sebring Division of the Galindo Tennis Academy. He coordinates all aspects of player development, while managing the division and leads with strong distinction the Sebring Junior Academy “Travel Team”.

Coach Awomeme is a firm proponent of transition balls, and implements the academy’s curriculum that sets forth a pathway of success for all students in his programs. He strongly believes in “live ball drills”, complemented with the implementation of transition balls. This creates accelerated advancement for the students and almost instant success. His entire coaching approach is founded on “Building a love of the game”, which in turn builds character and commitment in his students.

Tosin has created a cohesive Tennis community in the Sebring division at the Thakkar Thakkar Tennis Center where he trains his foundational players, as well as the Junior Academy “Travel Team”. This Team is comprised of selected students who are committed to developing their game to their fullest potential. Coach Tosin has brought the players, their families and the community as a whole together through his “Team” by working closely with many local businesses and highly revered sponsors.

Tosin began playing Tennis at an early age and found a passion for the game both on and off the court. He continues to pursue his own tennis game and currently trains and competes in many events throughout Florida. He believes that it is important for coaches to stay current and relevant in the sport to optimize maximum support of his players.

Also managing the Galindo Tennis Academy Pro Shop is where he has developed his expertise as a stringer and where he prides himself on keeping up to date with the newest industry standards of all Tennis equipment. He believes that the players should be educated on the importance of using proper equipment based on their age and playing experience.
